Design and analysis

Analysis oriented to the precise resolution of a hydrodynamic problem, or where it is necessary to determine the characteristics of the flow in an installation or equipment. Another possibility is the optimization of the geometry of a component or an existing system to improve its characteristics.

Research and development

Those deep-range projects where it is necessary to research in depth and where CFD codes normally are used to the maximum of their capacities to solve complex problems.

The research team from VICUSdt is familiar with the large cooperative Research and Development projects in which they work, integrated in the project team or as an external technological service. The R+D requires a research team multidisciplinary and dynamic, as the VICUSdt one is, able to execute as well the part of the research related to hydrodynamics taking their interaction with other branches of engineering into account as the mechanical design.

Launching/development time reduction of new products

By means of CFD simulations we can reduce the number of prototypes needed to the minimum, and even eliminate them in some cases. This has clear advantages in terms of development cost and in launching time, since manufacturing and testing lab time is reduced.
